All adult members of the club are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is no advance sign-up required, just come out to play; it’s a great way to get your weekend started. It is organized by a Coordinator. People rotate on and off the courts partnering up with different members. This is not a competitive program and is all about having fun on the courts and meeting other members.
NEW MEMBERS TO THE CLUB ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM!!
Singles Challenge Ladder
Men and women compete in one integrated Singles Ladder based on playing level.
Juniors are also allowed to participate, upon recommendation from the Pro.
The Singles Challenge Ladder begins in May and runs until mid-August.
NYTC House League is played on Wednesday Nights from 7:00 pm till 10:00 pm.
The League is organized so that a fun game of tennis, at all levels of play, can be enjoyed by both men and women.
To participate in House League play a member must be able to serve, have forehand and backhand shots; and also be able to keep score and know the rules of the game. This year the number of House League players will be limited to ensure equitable court time, so please sign-up early to avoid disappointment.
The NYTC socials are famous for combining great food, a fun atmosphere (sometimes with live music), and lots of tennis for all adult members! Most social Round Robins are preceded by a clinic from the club pro. The Round Robin matches are organized by a Coordinator who ensures everyone gets time to play and socialize.
